He was one of those happy VW owners tooling around town, proud of the fact that he had to fill up at the gas station much less often than I did--nor did he have to dig as deeply into his pockets to pay at the pump. Then he visited a website by the Clean Air Task Force and quickly changed his tune. Visit the site, punch in your own zip code and see how your county stacks up. And then write to Connecticut's Department of Education and demand they do away with diesel school buses for our children.
